Job Description

Position Overview

Directive Consulting is the leading B2B performance marketing agency that delivers real revenue—not just leads. Using our proprietary Customer Generation methodology, we cut through the noise to drive pipeline, fuel SQLs, and scale bold, innovative brands. In this role reporting to the Director of CRO, you will shape and execute high-impact, data-driven strategies to enhance advertising, landing page, and website conversion rates for our enterprise SaaS clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own, lead and execute high-impact CRO strategies, bridging data insights with creative solutions to improve conversion rates.
  • Design and implement tailored CRO strategies that align with client business goals.
  • Manage the day-to-day CRO strategy for multiple client accounts, including A/B and multivariate testing and behavior analysis.
  • Serve as a strategic partner by providing advanced guidance on CRO methodologies and tools.
  • Conduct comprehensive CRO audits, set KPIs, and create robust testing roadmaps for advertising and website optimization.
  • Collaborate with other service lines to integrate CRO strategies into full-service client campaigns.
  • Drive cross-sells, upsells, and referrals through strong client relationships.
  • Travel to client sites as required.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in a performance/digital marketing agency (with at least 3 years focused on CRO; B2B/SaaS experience is a plus).
  • Proven ability to develop strategies to enhance a client’s CRO by understanding their business, audience, and marketing goals.
  • A true problem-solver with demonstrated success in leading strategic CRO initiatives that yield measurable improvements.
  • Significant client-facing experience in managing complex relationships and guiding clients through impactful CRO programs.
  • Familiarity with customer journey software such as Unbounce and Hubspot.
  • Expertise in A/B and multivariate testing using tools like Optimizely, VWO, Adobe Target, and Convert.com, as well as experience with research, web analytics, heat mapping, and reporting tools.
  • Ability to identify new CRO growth opportunities and communicate complex findings in a clear, data-driven manner.
  • Active participant in CRO thought leadership, conferences, and networking events.
