Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Support design verification testing of coherent transceivers to ensure optical specifications are met under varying operating conditions.
- Help develop calibration and test procedures to maintain consistent high transceiver performance across temperature variations, production differences, ageing, and power levels.
- Contribute to creating methods, scripts, and software for various control loops in transmitter/receiver systems and performance monitoring related to power levels and signal estimation.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program in physics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Proficient in Python with a fundamental understanding of optics.
- Must be available to work onsite in Maynard, MA five days a week.

- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Passion for engineering and innovation.
- Enjoys working with both hardware and software.
- Comfortable working in lab environments and eager to be challenged in understanding complex systems.
- Previous internship experience is a plus.

- Competitive Compensation: For example, the salary range in the New York City Metro Area is $44,000.00 - $185,000.00, with similar ranges for Non-Metro New York and Washington state. Additional performance-based incentives and eligibility for Cisco restricted stock units may apply.
