Position Overview

Position: Engineering Intern (Recent Graduate Students) at a Medical Device Company.Location: El Paso, TX. Duration: 12 Months; Total Hours/week: 40.00;Schedule: 1st Shift (8am – 5pm); Experience Required: Entry Level;Requirements: Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens Or GC Holders Only).

Key Responsibilities

• Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.
• Ability to work independently as required. May receive general supervision with little instruction on routine work.
• May coordinate and/or execute special projects (Kaizen Blitz, time studies) as required by the Department.
• Performs administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing and supplying materials (raw, work-in-process, and finished goods), parts, supplies, work stations and distribution center.
• Coordinate and execute controlled document changes according to internal procedures and policies.

Required Qualifications

• Status of senior or graduate student (Engineering).
• Microsoft office experience required.
• Lean manufacturing methodology knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

• MRP (SAP) computer systems is Desired.
