Position Overview
At SiriusXM—a leader in audio entertainment—you’ll join as a passionate Social Media Manager responsible for energizing our digital presence and connecting with a broad audience. In this role, you will help shape the conversation by creating timely, engaging content that resonates with fans and celebrates artists across our influential platforms, including Pandora and SiriusXM Media.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day content creation, publishing, and community engagement across social channels.
- Build and maintain a social content calendar aligned with music releases, artist moments, events, and SiriusXM programming.
- Develop creative assets—photo, video, memes, reels, and short-form content—that resonate with fans.
- Monitor social trends and platform features to ensure content is fresh, timely, and culturally relevant.
- Collaborate with colleagues across programming, on-air talent, marketing, and artists to amplify key campaigns.
- Coordinate with SiriusXM brand social handles when relevant and share regular performance insights with stakeholders.
- Stay updated on news, emerging artists, and fan conversations to keep the content community-focused.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience managing social media accounts for a brand, media company, or entertainment property.
- Proficiency in social content creation—from capturing content via mobile devices to video/photo editing, caption writing, and publishing.
- Deep knowledge and genuine passion for Christian Pop Music.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, best practices, and native content formats.
- Experience creating engaging content such as short-form video, social copy, and trend-reactive moments.
- Analytical mindset with experience using social tools for performance reporting and strategy refinement.
- Excellent writing skills with a strong sense of voice, tone, and audience.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities across teams.
- Comfortable being on-site at events, in-studio with talent, or capturing behind-the-scenes content.
- Experience with tools like Sprout or native platform analytics is a plus.
- Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.
