Position Overview
United Wholesale Mortgage is seeking an entry level Account Executive for a dynamic, full-time, in-person role. Location: Pontiac, MichiganSchedule: Full-time, in-person.
This position is hiring immediately and is ideal for motivated sales professionals eager to connect with broker partners across all 50 states and drive success in the mortgage industry. Based near Southgate, Michigan, you will help showcase UWM’s competitive products while building long-term relationships and contributing to a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and sustain long-term relationships with broker accounts.
- Impart knowledge about UWM's Easiest Application System Ever (EASE) and the range of products available.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, offering guidance and solutions.
- Keep updated on industry trends and share the latest product updates.
- Ensure successful loan deals through proactive management.
- Oversee account performance and construct a robust loan pipeline to surpass sales targets.
- Drive sales initiatives as part of one of Michigan’s largest companies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in mortgage sales or relationship-based sales.
- Understanding of the distinction between retail and wholesale lending.
- Demonstrated ability to build business rapport and maintain client relationships.
- Proficiency with tech tools such as Microsoft Office, CRMs, and multitasking across platforms.
- Strong communication skills, both telephonically and in-person.
- A proactive, accountable attitude with a strong desire to learn and improve.
- Availability for full-time onsite work and a willingness to work in the metro Detroit area.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in the mortgage industry.
- Experience with inside sales or phone sales.
- A strong enthusiasm for the mortgage domain.
- Experience in a B2B sales environment.
- Ambition to achieve a six-figure income in a competitive sales setting.
