Job Description

Position Overview

The Allina Health Internal Resource Pool (IRP) Team is an internal team of Registered Nurses who float within their specialty to multiple sites for per diem or multi‐week assignments throughout our system hospitals. In this role, you will initially support Emergency Department units at Abbott Northwestern Hospital and United Hospital, with flexible shift options and variable assignment lengths.

Compensation: Flat Rate: $70.00 per hour. Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comprehensively assess patient and family needs; determine outcomes based on the assessment; establish, supervise, and modify the plan of care as needed.
  • Maintain education and competencies to provide high quality patient care.
  • Incorporate evidence-based nursing practices while considering current statutes, rules, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with patients and families to set realistic and measurable care outcomes.
  • Coordinate, delegate, and collaborate to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
  • Fulfill all organizational requirements and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • More than 1 year of current (within one year) ER RN experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • More than 1 year of travel nurse experience
