Job Description

Position Overview

Corporate Financial Analyst – The Finance Analyst will be responsible for performing various aspects of corporate finance for real estate transactions. This role will have a heavy focus on helping manage Company assets with the ability to track important performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides analytical support for asset management, debt financing, equity financing, budgeting, and variance reporting.
  • Must be proficient in the complete Microsoft Office suite, with a heavy emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Demonstrates familiarity with leveraged buy-out models including an understanding of debt schedules, sources & uses, and return sensitivities.
  • Supports production of materials for both internal and external investors.
  • Assists in the production of investor press releases.
  • Learns and applies database management skills and performance tracking software related to Company assets.
  • Coordinates across multiple job functions within the asset management department.
  • Assists with preparing commercial real estate property historical financial statements, projections, and market standards to determine projected income, value, and loan amounts.
  • Participates in ad-hoc/special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a major in Real Estate, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • One to two years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of the real estate business, corporate finance, or investment banking is a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (Modeling), VBA, Access, and PowerPoint with the ability to learn new applications.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment while working independently and collaboratively.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, oral, and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to use tact and diplomacy to maintain harmonious relationships with business contacts in person and over the phone.
