The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will lead and implement comprehensive marketing strategies across brand, digital and creative channels – driving growth, shaping innovative campaigns, and elevating customer experiences in the competitive fashion retail arena.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the overall marketing strategy across brand, digital, and creative channels.
- Collaborate with the executive team to align marketing strategies with business goals and objectives.
- Oversee the creation and evolution of the brand’s positioning ensuring consistent representation across all channels.
- Drive integrated campaigns to increase in-store and online traffic and meet profitability targets.
- Develop new sources of traffic and enhance customer engagement through channels such as social, mobile, SEM, and events.
- Lead brand marketing strategy to ensure a unified and compelling voice across media including social, content, PR and campaigns.
- Direct creative development that aligns with the brand vision and resonates with targeted consumers.
- Manage seasonal campaigns, product launches, and partnerships to drive brand awareness and loyalty.
- Oversee social media and influencer strategies to support growth objectives.
- Utilize customer and market data to optimize campaigns for return on investment.
- Regularly track and report on key performance metrics such as CAC, CLTV, conversion rates, and ROAS.
- Continuously optimize digital marketing channels and creative performance.
- Develop consumer insights and segmentation strategies for targeted communication.
- Implement customer engagement strategies to boost loyalty and lifetime value.
- Identify emerging trends and innovative marketing techniques to improve the customer experience.
- Develop and nurture strong cross-functional partnerships to drive business results.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of marketing professionals.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive experience in marketing leadership roles within the fashion or retail industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- Proven experience in leading brand, digital, and creative teams.
- Expertise in data-driven decision-making with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Creative thinker with a passion for fashion and up-to-date industry trends.
- Experience in managing budgets, setting KPIs, and driving measurable results.
