Position Overview

As a Mechanical Engineer I in our Nashville office, you will help empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions that save global environments and create a greener future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with and be mentored by experienced engineers while mentoring designers.
  • Perform load calculations and determine system sizing and layouts.
  • Calculate equipment sizes, select appropriate equipment, and complete field surveys.
  • Review equipment shop drawings.
  • Lead mechanical project teams, write specifications, and participate in project meetings with clients and consultants as you gain experience.
  • Support construction-phase work.

Required Qualifications

  • BSME/BSAE from an ABET accredited school.
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5.
  • Non-academic internship experience.
  • Leadership involvement in extracurricular activities/student organizations is preferred.
  • EIT certification (Passed the FE exam) is a plus.
  • Internship experience in the MEP consulting engineering field is preferred.

  • Quick technical comprehension with motivation focused on client outcomes.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Capable of working both independently and within team environments.
