Position Overview

The Credit Card Business Analyst role is a key position on the direct-to-consumer team supporting Sunbit’s Credit Card business. LocatedRemote, USand reporting to the Director, Card Growth and Risk Management, this role offers an opportunity for a collaborative, analytical, and data-driven individual to work across the organization, drive growth, scale, efficiency, and deliver an outstanding customer experience. Sunbit is a leading financial technology company dedicated to easing the stress of life’s expenses through innovative payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct business and financial analysis to evaluate performance, determine strategy, prioritize opportunities, and drive successful execution
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, tech, analytics, marketing, and legal teams to determine requirements and priorities
  • Coordinate and manage projects to ensure successful, on-time delivery
  • Determine appropriate credit limits and terms for credit card applicants
  • Monitor portfolio performance and identify trends
  • Recommend strategies to mitigate credit risk and optimize profitability
  • Research and identify new opportunities to grow, expand, and improve Sunbit’s products

Required Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in Credit Card, Loans, or other financial services (fintech/fast-growing consumer startup a plus!)
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into meaningful insights
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL with experience analyzing large data sets
  • Knowledge in Tableau, Python, R, or SAS
  • Experience with forecasting models such as time series forecasting
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, ambitious, and a go-getter with a hunger for success
  • Able to build strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external partners
  • Organized with the ability to manage ambiguity and complexity
  • Capable of working independently across multiple levels
