Position Overview

This Sr. Manager of SailPoint/IAM engineering role is part of the enterprise Access Application Onboarding team, where you will work closely with development, Cyber and DevOps teams to design, develop, and implement solutions managing application access within the SailPoint identity tool using AWS services like EC2, ECS, Lambda, Dynamo, RDS Aurora, and S3. By joining the team, you will make a quick impact developing applications with Java, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, Jenkins, and APIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Bring your automation expertise to a team and customer base with an insatiable appetite for growing the capabilities of our IAM platform.
- Work within and across teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical IAM solutions that are foundational to enterprise capabilities on a massive scale.
- Directly contribute to the IAM platform by developing creative and efficient coding and configuration solutions that differentiate Capital One from the competition.
- Share your passion for staying on top of IAM trends, experimenting with new technologies, and participating in internal and external technology communities.
- Utilize programming languages, NoSQL databases, and a variety of AWS tools and services in delivering solutions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
- At least 6 years of experience working in cybersecurity or information security.
- At least 4 years of experience in people management.
- At least 1 year of experience working with SailPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 4+ years of experience in Java, JavaScript, Selenium, JSON, XML, and REST development.
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service.
- 3+ years of experience in open source frameworks.
- 3+ years of experience in Agile practices.
- 3+ years of experience with Identity Access Management and SailPoint IdentityIQ.
- 2+ years of experience creating REST API documentation using Swagger, YAML or similar tools.
- 2+ years of experience in AWS services (S3, EC2, EMR, ECS, SQS, CloudWatch).
- 2+ years of experience in Active Directory, LDAP management, or MFA.
- 2+ years of experience in Jira, Git, or Jenkins.

- Location: McLean, VA: $229,900 - $262,400; Plano, TX: $209,000 - $238,500; Richmond, VA: $209,000 - $238,500
