Automotive HIL Validation Engineer: Hands-on Testing

Position Overview

A technology solutions provider is seeking an Automotive Hardware in the Loop (HIL) Validation Engineer for a contract role in Dearborn, Michigan. The ideal candidate will have hands-on validation experience across various automotive domains, with proficiency in HIL testing using Dspace tools and MATLAB/Simulink. In addition, experience in both manual and automated testing along with a solid understanding of the software development life cycle is essential. The role requires strong problem-solving skills and a self-driven attitude toward test automation using Python and Dspace Tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) validation testing for automotive systems.
• Utilize Dspace tools and MATLAB/Simulink for test execution and analysis.
• Perform both manual and automated testing to ensure product quality.
• Implement and optimize test automation using Python.
