Position Overview
Collina Digital is seeking a full-time Digital Media Manager to lead the paid media department. This hands-on role is responsible for strategy, execution, optimization, reporting, and cross-department alignment. You will work directly with an experienced associate or junior paid media specialist, providing direction, support, mentorship, and quality control across all paid platforms. This position is based in St. Louis, Missouri and is primarily in-office (Monday through Thursday) with the option to work from home on Fridays when workload and meeting schedules allow.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Team Management: Partner with and oversee a paid media associate or junior specialist, provide direction, coaching, quality control, delegate tasks, and support training and workflow consistency.
- Client-Facing Responsibilities: Develop paid media strategies aligned to client goals, build media plans, budgets, and KPI targets, present plans and performance updates, deliver mid-project updates and recaps, manage client approvals, lead onboarding, and communicate performance trends.
- Paid Media Execution: Manage campaigns across major digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok), conduct keyword research, audience development, competitive analysis, build structured campaigns, partner with creative on ad concepts, monitor pacing and performance, optimize campaigns to exceed KPIs, and maintain tracking protocols (UTMs, pixels, tagging).
- Internal Operations and Project Management: Update weekly status on paid media projects, keep timelines and budgets on track, identify expansion opportunities, route campaigns for approval, and maintain/refine internal SOPs and workflow guides.
- Additional Responsibilities: Participate in brand and campaign planning sessions, support new business proposals and pitch materials, advise on technology improvements, and collaborate closely with creative, web, and operations teams.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of paid media experience
- Proven experience managing campaigns across platforms including Google Ads (Search, Display, Performance Max, YouTube), Meta Ads, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and TikTok
- Technical expertise with GA4, UTMs, GTM, conversion tracking, and related setups
- Strong project management skills and the ability to lead and mentor team members
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and process consistency
- Excellent communication and client presentation abilities
- Experience managing multiple client accounts
