We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales, Marketing & Business Development Representative to help expand our market presence, build strategic partnerships, and drive new business opportunities.

Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic and energetic professional who can identify, develop, and close new business opportunities. This role requires strong sales skills, relationship-building ability, and a proactive approach to business development.

You will play a key role in helping Tropicana Landscape grow by building relationships with clients, identifying new opportunities, and promoting our landscaping services.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and market segments
  • Generate leads through research, networking, industry events, and outreach

Sales & Client Acquisition

  • Conduct meetings with potential clients to understand their needs
  • Present Tropicana Landscape services and value to prospective clients
  • Prepare proposals and close sales agreements

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and point of contact for key stakeholders

Market Research

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities
  • Provide insights to help shape marketing and sales strategies

Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams including sales, marketing, and operations
  • Ensure smooth transition from sales to project onboarding

Pipeline & Reporting

  • Track leads, sales activities, and pipeline status using Method CRM
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance

Brand Representation

  • Represent Tropicana Landscape at networking events, industry conferences, and trade shows

Qualifications

Required

  • 1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
  • Experience using CRM software and sales tools
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events

Preferred

  • Experience in the landscaping, construction, or service industry
  • Existing industry contacts
  • Spanish language proficiency
