Job Description

Position Overview

Audit Manager I - VP, Wealth & Fiduciary. The Audit Manager is an intermediate level role responsible for performing moderately complex audits and assessments of Citi's risk and control environments in coordination with the Wealth and Fiduciary Audit team. The overall objective is to utilize in-depth subject matter expertise to ensure that the firm meets audit standards and regulations and to work with business leaders to determine solutions for emerging issues. Schedule: Full time. Location: 11225 N Community House Road, Charlotte, NC 28277 in first quarter 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consistently develop, execute and deliver audit reports in a timely manner, in accordance with Internal Audit and Regulatory standards
  • Review and approve the Business Monitoring Quarterly summary and serve as lead reviewer for all reviews
  • Collaborate with teams across the business and determine impact on overall control environment and audit approach
  • Manage audit activities for a component of a product line, function, or legal entity at the regional or country level
  • Leverage a comprehensive expertise to manage a team
  • Advise the business on change initiatives, while advancing integrated auditing concepts and technology adoption
  • Recommend interventions to issues, propose solutions for risk and control problems, and partner with Directors and Managing Directors to develop approaches for broader corporate issues
  • Apply in-depth understanding of Internal Audit standards, policies and regulations to a specific product or function area
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment, and escalating control issues with transparency
  • Assist the Wealth Audit team in managing Internal Audit engagements
  • Assist the Fiduciary SME team in fiduciary audit plan monitoring, review, and reporting

Required Qualifications

  • Qualifications: 6-10 years of relevant experience
  • Qualifications: Effective comprehension of the business side of audit function and subject matter expertise regarding technology application
  • Qualifications: Effective verbal, written and negotiation skills
  • Qualifications: Effective project management skills
  • Qualifications: Effective influencing and relationship management skills
  • Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment
  • Qualifications: Experience/familiarity with wealth, asset management and investment advisory products/services and back‑office operations
  • Qualifications: Basic understanding of fiduciary principles and wealth management industry regulations (i.e. OCC Regulation 9, Investment Advisers Act, Regulation Best Interest)
  • Qualifications: Maintain or be willing to obtain Certified Fiduciary and Investment Risk Specialist (CFIRS)
  • Education: Bachelor's/University degree is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Qualifications: Related certifications (CPA, CFIRS, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA or similar) preferred
  • Education: Master's degree preferred
