Entry-Level Accountant

Position Overview

Addison Group is seeking an Entry-Level Accountant for a contract-to-hire role with our client in San Antonio, Texas. This position requires at least one year of experience working in the accounting field and pays up to $60,000 per year contingent upon applicable experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, verify, and analyze documents related to the company's financial activities
• Analyze and prepare monthly journal entries
• Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly
• Review financial documents for accuracy
• Ensure financial records comply with regulatory standards
• Provide timely and accurate month-end close financials
• Collaborate with other departments and assist with accounting issues and queries as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of reconciliation experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
