Senior Mechanical Engineer

SKYE MEP is seeking a licensed Senior Mechanical Engineer for a full-time position.

This is a career-building opportunity for a motivated individual who wants to work with an experienced team at an engineering firm with a rich history in San Antonio, spanning over 50 years. Our wide-ranging portfolio includes Commercial, K-12, Higher Education, Healthcare, Historic Preservation, Light Industrial, and Design-Build projects.

The successful candidate will be well-qualified in designing mechanical/HVAC systems and will serve as the first point-of-contact for clients in a project management role. As a Senior Engineer, the candidate will guide and mentor younger engineers in their careers along with reviewing their work.

Applicants should be prepared for project management, design work, specification writing, submittal reviews, reviewing pay applications, and significant interaction with clients. The candidate should also be familiar with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and be able to work with a team of people from other disciplines, including Electrical, Plumbing, Architectural, Structural, and Civil.
