Position Overview

As a Paycom Account Executive, you will be a confident, adaptable, and efficient sales professional responsible for initiating new business, closing deals, and working directly with C-suite leaders. Enjoy uncapped compensation including a $100K salary (with $80,000 base and $20,000 supplemental) plus commission, and benefit from top-tier sales tools, comprehensive training, and strong executive support.
Key Responsibilities
- Focus on selling new business and exceeding sales goals
- Build relationships with decision-makers and C-level executives
- Prospect companies with 50+ employees in your territory
- Maintain a steady sales pipeline with in-person prospect meetings
- Close new accounts and gather critical implementation information
- Support new clients through to their go-live date
- Continuously update your expert knowledge of Paycom software
- Travel up to 25%, including overnight trips as needed
- Participate in additional projects as required
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (in business or professional selling preferred)
- Experience in a competitive, fast-paced B2B sales environment with a proven record of exceeding goals
- Proven ability to exceed sales metrics and analyze client needs to offer strategic business solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills complemented by strong presentation, organization, and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
