Your work will focus on key areas such as distribution networks, transmission lines, and substation design – directly impacting utilities, independent power producers, and industrial clients. At ENERCON, you will engage in the design, analysis, and inspection of critical infrastructure projects while receiving mentorship from experienced engineers and opportunities for hands-on fieldwork.

Salary: $71,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and apply relevant codes and standards during project design.
- Maintain efficiency and organization while managing multiple tasks.
- Exhibit a positive attitude toward learning and feedback.
- Collaborate with senior engineers for field data collection and practical application of classroom knowledge.
- Adapt to new software systems and engineering tools as needed.
- Meet deadlines while balancing multiple project requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Recent or upcoming graduate with a degree from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Availability to start between May 2026 and August 2026, with preference given to those graduating in May-June 2026.
- Strong foundational knowledge in core concepts related to your field of study.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and essential engineering software tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to visit client sites and perform fieldwork as needed.
- Flexibility to travel for client and company engagements.
- Completion of pre-interview assessments, submission of required college transcript, and ability to pass pre-employment screenings and background checks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred Engineering Majors: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and related fields.
- Preferred Coursework: Power Systems Engineering, Power Electronics, Power Systems Analysis & Control, Electric Power Quality.
