About the position
Newcomb & Boyd, a multi-discipline engineering firm headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, is seeking a Marketing Co-op to join our Marketing and Business Development team. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in A/E/C marketing, proposal development, and brand communications while supporting pursuits for healthcare, higher education, and corporate clients. We are seeking a co-op to start Summer 2026. Responsibilities
- Contribute to CRM maintenance and data entry related to opportunities, project marketing information, clients, and personnel.
- Help organize files and maintain marketing templates and materials
- Create documentation for internal processes
- Assist with organizing and managing project photography
- Conduct basic marketing research on clients, projects, and opportunities
- Assist with preparing PowerPoint presentations for interviews and meetings
- Assist with producing and editing blog and website content
- Assist in preparing responses to Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) and other pursuit-related materials
- Support the Marketing Director and team with additional tasks as needed
Requirements
- Ability to self-check work prior to submitting to others for review/approval
- Strong attention to detail, especially in editing, formatting, and data entry
- Demonstrate initiative, dependability, and a collaborative team mindset
- Excellent time management and organizational skills; able to juggle multiple concurrent deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in continuous improvement and contributing to process and quality enhancements
Nice-to-haves
- Pursuing an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related area of study
- Experience working in Adobe InDesign a plus
