Position Overview
Are you a strategic marketing professional with a passion for driving sales and enhancing customer experiences through innovative promotional campaigns? Join Matco Tools as a Promotional Strategy Manager. In this hybrid role (Tuesdays–Thursdays in the Stow, OH office; Mondays and Fridays remote), you will lead the development and execution of geo-targeted campaigns via the Matco Tools Connect mobile app, manage national flyer promotions, and collaborate across teams to deliver impactful marketing initiatives. You will leverage robust data analysis, testing methodologies, and custom reporting tools to optimize revenue, margin, and engagement, while contributing to the success of Matco’s annual Expo.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of National Flyers, including revenue and margin management, week-one performance reviews, follow-on adjustments, and pricing accuracy reviews.
- Oversee Matco’s promotional strategy via the Matco Tools Connect mobile app.
- Create and manage geo-targeted promotional campaigns—from city- to country-wide—utilizing specific products to optimize the end-user experience and drive sales.
- Develop robust testing methodologies to measure campaign success.
- Design and implement reporting tools and dashboards that track key metrics and performance trends, providing actionable insights to marketing leadership.
- Conduct quantitative analysis, ad hoc reports, and modeling to support promotional decision-making, including analysis of purchase patterns, price elasticity, usage, engagement, and revenue/margin maximization.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Suppliers, and outside vendors to deliver a seamless experience for Matco’s annual Expo.
- Utilize Vontier Business Systems (VBS) and analysis tools daily to drive mix/margin improvements and optimize promotional processes.
- Maintain accurate pricing for all promotional activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and synthesize results.
- Direct experience working with large datasets.
- Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and drive change.
- Strong financial skills and a history of driving results with vision and purpose.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for all levels.
- Strong organizational agility, interpersonal, and political savvy to collaborate across departments.
