As a Senior Staff Engineer, Commercial AI/ML in GCS-Technology, you will be the technical leader for AI initiatives—refining strategy, partnering with engineering teams, and ensuring scalable, responsibly developed AI solutions that impact customer and internal use cases. Key Responsibilities

  • Refine and champion the technical strategy for implementing AI at scale across customer-facing and internal use cases.
  • Partner closely with engineering teams across GCS-Technology to build best-in-class AI solutions.
  • Balance rapid value delivery with establishing scalable frameworks and patterns for iterative AI solution development.
  • Act as a trusted thought partner with GCS stakeholders to co-create solutions for challenging problems.
  • Collaborate with central enterprise teams to implement enterprise-wide AI best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in data and AI/ML engineering development with significant hands‑on experience in building AI solutions.
  • Strong Python programming skills.
  • Experience with Deep Learning libraries such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
  • Deep understanding of LLMs, Generative AI, and Agentic concepts.
  • Experience evaluating and implementing RAG and Fine‑Tuning solutions.
  • Proven ability to implement scaled AI solutions integrated with real‑time customer products.
  • Experience in creating MLOps best practices.
  • Expertise in building cloud‑based big-data solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP).
