Position Overview
This position is remote and can be based anywhere within the United States. Candidates must be able to work EST or CST business hours. The Product Marketing Manager will support the Incontinence portfolio for Cardinal Health. In this role, Marketing is responsible for assessing customer needs, market conditions, and competition to inform business strategy and implementing that strategy by developing, commercializing, and monitoring the appropriate products and services. Product or Services Marketing focuses on defining product/service and market strategy and lifecycle management to drive customer loyalty, sales growth, and profitability.

Salary: $80,900 - $103,500

Key Responsibilities:
- Exhibit an ability to translate market and customer needs into clearly defined goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics to drive sales and profitability.
- Identify and remain current on global market trends, determining product/service lifecycle implications and making recommendations to maintain market competitiveness and achieve sustainable economic success.
- Utilize methods to execute primary research (VOC) to drive portfolio/product decisions and identify market opportunities.
- Demonstrate knowledge of marketing disciplines and concepts necessary for building a business and marketing plan, including selecting appropriate channels to market.
- Exhibit strong financial acumen and logical decision-making regarding pricing, deal structure, and financial implications.
- Work effectively across cross-functional groups including IT, Sales, Operations, and Marketing Communications.
- Become a product expert for all elements of the portfolio.
- Understand the complexities of market landscapes including servicing Group Purchasing Organizations, RFP ownership, and patient outcomes through value-based technologies.
- Recognize end customer clinical practice and patient needs as well as US market trends.
- Demonstrate strong P&L management along with financial acumen.
- Develop strong relationships to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Global Product Management, Finance, Customer Engagement, Medical/Clinical Affairs, Asset Operations, Strategic Pricing, Legal, and R&D.
- Manage day-to-day business needs and field support to meet annual revenue and gross profit goals.
- Create pricing strategies, promotional tactics, and initiatives to optimize product profitability.
- Develop strategies to grow the incontinence portfolio.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver regional forecasting and inform demand planning and global marketing.
- Engage with key opinion leaders, customers, and patient advocacy groups with particular focus on tradeshows and conference opportunities.
- Communicate consistently with the sales team to relay critical inventory needs, strategies, and pricing changes.
- Collaborate with Sales Training teams to cultivate content and deliver effective training sessions.
- Demonstrate the ability to build comprehensive marketing plans and identify appropriate channels to market.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience (preferred).
- 3+ years’ experience in a related field (preferred).
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Tenacity and willingness to roll up your sleeves and work quickly.
- Courage to own decision making and lead in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to operate both independently and as a team player on short- and long-term projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking ability.
