Position Overview

Join Elevance Health as a Customer Care Representative I – Bilingual (Spanish). In this role you will act as a trusted advisor and educator on healthcare-related inquiries, guiding members and providers to a better healthcare experience. This position offers a virtually full-time work environment with required in‐person training sessions, allowing maximum flexibility while ensuring essential onboarding and skill development. Hours are 8:30 AM – 5 PM PST.

Key Responsibilities

  • Focus on proactively resolving members’ and providers’ questions and concerns using computer-based resources.
  • Guide members and providers by explaining benefits, resolving claim concerns, and assisting in finding a doctor via phone, online chat, or email.
  • Partner internally to create a seamless experience and address potential issues promptly.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent along with experience in an automated customer service environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) or multi-language skills required.
  • Ability to pass a validated language test/assessment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working primarily on the phone, preferably in a home environment with hard-wired internet access and a quiet workspace.
  • A passion for serving others with an empathetic approach and a drive to resolve member questions at the first point of contact.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively, navigating multiple computer applications while maintaining a strong work ethic and accountability.
