Position Overview
Que Technology Group (QTG), a small, minority-owned IT company based in Baltimore, MD, is continuously running its internship program to provide students with hands-on, real-world experience. In this role as the Internship Program Administrative Coordinator, you will support the Internship Program Operations Coordinator and Human Resources in managing day-to-day administrative tasks while bridging academic life with the IT field.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate weekly task emails for interns, curating content and crafting thought-provoking questions to ensure they meet their 15-hour weekly commitment.
- Oversee daily intern activities, manage task assignments, and monitor ongoing projects.
- Manage tasks on the Intern Microsoft Teams group to ensure proper weekly assignments.
- Serve as an additional point of contact for interns and support their queries.
- Lead initiatives to grow our Intern-Alumni Program and collaborate on new projects with Human Resources.
- Offer fresh insights to enhance or update current internship initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a team setting.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Must have a permanent address in a HubZone area (MD or GA) and provide address verification documents.
- Commitment to 15 hours per week (60 hours per month), with weekly reports submitted by Friday at 5:00 PM and bi-weekly timesheets by the required deadline.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with college students or alumni.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Technical experience is a plus.
