Customer Service / Sales - Entry Level

This entry level position is designed to teach the right candidate the job skills necessary to succeed in a dynamic environment. The role involves making and receiving calls to assess customer freight needs and support internal teams in delivering outstanding service.

Location: Jacksonville, FL
Salary: $32,500 to $37,500 Annual Salary Plus Commission (plus up to 12% Commission on Gross Profit, with expected first year income estimated at $55,000+).

Key Responsibilities

• Track freight shipments, perform data entry, apply basic accounting practices, and solve problems for clients.
• Check on the statuses of loads regarding pickup and delivery dates and times.
• Contact customers for receivable collections.
• Communicate with carriers regarding load assignments.
• Maintain accurate records of all customer and carrier interactions.
• Ensure high levels of profitability, carrier satisfaction, and support.
• Collaborate with internal sales teams on all aspects of the supply chain process.
• Develop and maintain solid carrier relationships to improve client service.
• Answer phones daily, route calls appropriately, and act as a leader by providing direction and support to other employees.
