Position Overview

Join Our Team as a Retail Cashier. Sam’s Club is a membership-based retail warehouse dedicated to delivering exceptional value and service. In this role you are the crucial first and last point of contact for members—ensuring fast, accurate, and friendly service at checkout. Key Responsibilities

• Greet all members with a warm smile and friendly demeanor.
• Accurately scan items and process member purchases using POS systems.
• Handle cash, credit, debit, and mobile payments securely and efficiently.
• Issue receipts, give change, and answer questions related to purchases.
• Assist members with self-checkout kiosks and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout station, including sanitizing surfaces regularly.
• Resolve member concerns when possible or refer them to the appropriate department.
• Uphold all Sam’s Club policies related to safety, loss prevention, and member service.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using registers and handling various payment methods.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and multitask efficiently.
• Capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 lbs when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior cashier, retail, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
