Key Responsibilities

• Create unique and innovative designs for theBarneys New Yorkbrand that are both fashionable and functional.
• Incorporate current fashion trends into designs.
• Interpret customer needs into sketches and design concepts.
• Measure, cut, sew, and construct garments with precision.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure designs meet the brand's quality standards.
• Stay updated on market developments and emerging trends.
• Maintain organized archives of all design concepts and sketches.
• Select appropriate fabrics, colors, and trims in collaboration with the team.
• Produce detailed technical specifications for the production team.
• Ensure all designs meet customer needs, quality standards, and applicable safety regulations.
