Position Overview
This opportunity provides placement options within Corporate Accounting, Fund & Broker-Dealer Accounting, and Financial Reporting. Located in New York, the role offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you can develop your skills, gain exposure to financial markets and products, and work on complex business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Corporate Accounting:
- Perform audits of Travel and Expense reports through Concur in accordance with Citadel’s Expense Reimbursement policy
- Support the accounting team on various cash receipt and disbursement related tasks
- Assist the team with the close process and various monthly journal entries
- Fund & Broker-Dealer Accounting:
- Assist with regulatory reporting for broker-dealer entities
- Assist with monthly closes and periodic financial reporting
- Assist with counterparty compliance monitoring and reporting
- Drive process improvements, among other projects
- Assist with overseeing the accounting books and records
- Oversee the calculation of fund and investor level NAVs and returns
- Financial Reporting:
- Support the Financial Reporting team in the preparation and review of quarterly and year-end financial statements
- Assist with the management of external audits
- Support the financial statement publication process
- Engage with stakeholders throughout the financial statement process
- Research accounting questions under U.S. GAAP and IFRS
Required Qualifications
- Seeking a degree in Accounting or Finance
- Willingness to work part-time in conjunction with academic quarters
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- High energy level and a strong work ethic
- Extremely detail and process-oriented

Benefits & Perks
- Compensation:Base salary range is $2,200 to $2,300 per week
