Key Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of operations to meet specified dimensions and tolerances based on manufacturing documents including part prints, process routers, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
• Operates within the plant/shop safety rules and maintains good housekeeping practices.
• Maintains quality and productivity levels during the manufacturing process.
• Adheres to general plant rules, policies governing workplace conduct, performance, EH&S policies, and good documentation practices.
• Works cohesively with others in a team environment.
• Follows specific procedures and instructions to assemble component parts into finished goods while satisfying quality and production requirements.
• Performs polishing/grinding operations using stationary floor-mounted equipment, which may require leaning forward with arms extended over the grinding motor for extended periods.
• Maintains a primarily seated work stance with limited standing, bending, or twisting, and occasionally moves products weighing up to 50 pounds between workstations.
• Demonstrates adequate visual acuity to detect subtle product non-conformities.

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.
• Basic math skills.
