Senior Logistics Analyst, Wholesale Transportation

Position Overview

Fanatics Commerce is looking for a strategic and enthusiastic leader to fill the position of Sr Transportation Analyst. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the bulk movement of freight from global factories into multiple Warehouse facilities throughout North America. You will leverage your international expertise to implement cost savings, improve efficiency, and recommend technology enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and distribution of inbound forecast materials.
• Communicate and maintain inbound container status, utilizing information from internal and external data platforms.
• Handle communication with all necessary parties regarding shipments delayed in-transit and their status.
• Process delivery orders and/or work orders directing cargo to the final destination as needed.
• Assist with carrier onboarding including communications; updating and distributing routing guides & transit matrix; and capturing preferred sailing details.
• Collaborate with Asia and LATAM Hubs to keep standard operating procedures accurate and up to date.
• Identify challenges and turn them into opportunities.
• Train and share knowledge with teammates to build a strong department foundation.
• Transform spreadsheet data into meaningful information and translate it into metrics.

Required Qualifications

• A self-starter with a positive attitude.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in international logistics or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain activities, including Import Container and Air Freight.
• Experience using a Transportation Management System.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail orientated.
• Creative thinker who can easily adapt in an ever-changing environment.
• Collaborative problem solver with the ability to implement long term strategies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
