3D Designer

Position Overview

Our Boston based agency client is looking for project based support on their design team; specifically they are seeking a 3D Designer to pick up projects. In this role you'll handle projects across multiple environments, including retail, wholesale settings as well as temporary and permanent installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating high-quality presentations, visualizations, and renderings using tools like SketchUp.
• Demonstrate a strong design sense in each project, incorporating typography, space, measurement, form, volume, and color.
• Work closely with the design team.
• Contribute creatively on internal and client projects including inspiration and design on an as-needed basis.
• Work effectively as part of a larger team under time constraints and meet deadlines.
• Assist the team in maintaining the production and execution schedule.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Present complex ideas and designs professionally and strategically to internal partners and clients during design meetings via face-to-face, Zoom, and email marketing.

Required Qualifications

• BFA or related degree in design.
• 2+ years of 3D design experience.
• Excellent sense of color, type, and style.
• Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects, and work well under pressure.
• Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign) and proficiency with tools like Blender4D and AutoCad.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior retail packaging design experience preferred.
