Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate Software Training Specialist who enjoys training and teaching others. In this role, you will work closely with new and existing customers—from small businesses to large enterprises—to help them understand and optimize our software solutions through engaging in-person and online training sessions.

Compensation:$80,000 - $85,000 base salary + 10% performance-based bonus and benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver quality training to customers based on adult learning principles and best practices.
  • Determine individualized and group training plans that address specific business needs.
  • Assess learner needs and capabilities and adapt training methods to ensure training success.
  • Deliver train-the-trainer programs to support and enable end-user customer training rollout, including coaching and shadowing support.
  • Coordinate training sessions including scheduling of participants and related resources.
  • Deliver online or onsite instructor-led training using various tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
  • Conduct instructor-led classroom training sessions at company events, industry conferences, or customer sites using diverse instructional techniques.
  • Promote and enable the use and adoption of online training courses to support ongoing end-user learning.
  • Incorporate engaging training techniques and perform ongoing analysis to determine training effectiveness.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for improvements to training processes and program curriculum.
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent communication and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with the project team to proactively manage issues, risks, escalations, timelines, and delays for a seamless customer experience.
  • Test, pilot, and document new professional services offerings.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in multiple product offerings, understanding end-to-end solutions and product value outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in progress or completed.
  • Previous client-facing training experience, preferably in the software industry.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning concepts, training development techniques, and best practices.
  • High aptitude for software and technology with excellent presentation skills.
  • Experience working on multi-resource project teams, balancing milestones and objectives efficiently.
  • Experience conducting both in-person and remote training sessions.
  • Familiarity with EHR software is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-paced, complex team environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and teleconferencing solutions (e.g., Zoom, Teams).
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% (Passport Required).
