AV Installation Technician (Entry Level) – Washington D.C.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure low‑voltage commercial audio, video, and lighting systems for diverse businesses.
• Set up LED/LCD video walls, touch panels, and speakers to create impactful audio‑visual experiences.
• Pull and terminate cables, manage harness racks, patch bays, and master mixing consoles.
• Participate in training programs to obtain DOT and OSHA 10 certifications, ensuring safety and industry-leading performance.
• Continuously engage in further training and development to remain at the forefront of cutting‑edge technology.

Required Qualifications

• High integrity, self‑motivation, and strong organizational skills.
• Proven experience in AV, telecommunications, construction, or related industries.
• Ability to travel 50–75%, including overnight stays.
• Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in using basic hand and power tools, including soldering and crimping connectors (XLR, RJ45, TRS, BNC, F‑CONN).
• Comfortable working in construction environments with appropriate PPE.
• Current OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
