The Social Media Coordinator will play a vital part in supporting the development and growth of our brand presence across social media platforms. Working collaboratively within the social media team at Carhartt, this position supports the creation of innovative, best-in-class content aimed at driving business results and strengthening brand awareness and engagement. With a creative mindset and a passion for digital marketing, you will build strong cross-functional partnerships to push our social media efforts forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Social Media Specialist in creating all social media content creative briefs and managing projects from concept to activation for campaigns across social media platforms.
  • Evaluate incoming social media campaign requests to inform future planning and timelines.
  • Leverage social media listening tools to identify key themes and topics, providing recommendations to enhance brand efforts, priorities, and investments.
  • Identify and engage with key influencers across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube to strengthen influencer relationships.
  • Monitor emerging social media platforms and provide regular updates to team leaders.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports for social media, offering insights on trends, audience development, and competitive brand analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with the social media team to ensure optimal project coordination and efficiency.
  • Assist with additional social media and marketing projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • At least 1 year of professional or internship experience with social media, community management, or content creation.
  • Excellent written communication skills with a passion for social media and digital marketing.
  • Proactive, self-starter with strong problem-solving and organizational skills, ensuring effective prioritization of workload.
  • Highly creative with robust conceptual skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with mainstream social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter/X, Threads, YouTube, LinkedIn, Snapchat, and Pinterest.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
