As a manufacturing engineer, you will play an integral role in driving new product introductions and process improvements in both machining production and R&D manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement manufacturing process plans, procedures, inspection criteria, and related documentation to meet customer drawing, purchase order, and specification requirements for new products and revisions.
  • Analyze and update current manufacturing processes to improve efficiency while ensuring compliance with all customer requirements.
  • Investigate, identify, and report root causes and lead the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Provide engineering support for day-to-day production and inspection processes.
  • Collaborate with quality, production, supply chain, and design engineering teams for complex problem solving and process changes.
  • Perform duties both independently and as part of a team.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent aerospace manufacturing work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling software, including CATIA V5, and a strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new manufacturing processes and interpret Model Based Definition (MBD), blueprints, and specifications.
  • Experience with transitioning products from design to manufacturing as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
