Key Responsibilities

  • Participate as a member of the healthcare team in delivering high quality patient care.
  • Perform delegated patient care and procedures under the supervision of the registered nurse.
  • Observe, report, and record patient conditions and vital information.
  • Assist the healthcare team with specific treatments and/or procedures in the acute care facility.
  • Fulfill a 72-hour biweekly nights shift schedule.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Successful completion of a CNA or GNA program.
  • Successful completion of a GNA course and/or fundamentals with one additional clinical course in an accredited nursing program.
  • Successful completion of the NST course.
  • Current C.N.A. license on file with the state of Maryland.
  • Healthcare Provider level CPR.
