Position Overview

Victory Capital (NASDAQ: VCTR) is a diversified global asset management firm serving institutional, intermediary, and individual clients. Headquartered in San Antonio, TX, the firm specializes in innovative investment strategies across traditional and alternative asset classes. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting compelling financial content across multiple platforms with a focus on regulatory compliance and brand consistency. Your work will range from creating educational narratives that build investor confidence to producing technical communications for financial advisors and institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide editorial leadership by editing, refining, and maintaining quality standards across all marketing content.
• Create compelling financial content across multiple channels (digital, print, video) tailored to diverse audience segments.
• Develop educational content that translates complex investment concepts into accessible narratives.
• Establish and maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging while adapting tone for varied audiences.
• Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure all content meets regulatory and financial disclosure requirements.
• Conduct content audits, analyze performance metrics, and identify opportunities aligned with strategic objectives.
• Partner with design, digital marketing, and product teams to create cohesive marketing communications.
• Manage the content calendar and production timelines while repurposing existing content efficiently.
• Stay current on financial industry trends, competitor messaging, and marketing best practices.
• Implement and maintain editorial standards, style guidelines, and quality control processes.
• Assist with other marketing projects as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of professional writing/editing experience, with at least 2 years in financial services.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts, products, and terminology.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a demonstrated ability to translate complex financial information into clear content.
• Familiarity with financial marketing compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.

Target Compensation

Compensation: The target base salary range for this position is $72,250 - $85,000. Salaries are determined based on internal equity, market data, applicant’s skills, relevant experience, and educational background. Victory Capital Management embraces a pay-for-performance philosophy; total compensation may include annual bonuses and/or commissions, in addition to a generous benefits package.
