Security Officer - Logistics Screener

Position Overview

Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer - Logistics Screener in Stockton, CA. In this role, you will safeguard clients across logistics & distribution facilities by patrolling, screening, and ensuring a secure environment. Key Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency responses when needed.
• Respond calmly and effectively to incidents and critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the logistics and distribution facility, including business premises and perimeter, to deter unauthorized activities.
• Perform screening duties such as checking credentials, inspecting packages, and monitoring access points per location protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding security-related concerns or incidents.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations as required.

Required Qualifications

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation per federal, state, and local laws. Applications with criminal histories will be considered in accordance with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen as permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
