Watermark Books & Café is currently seeking a creative and dynamic individual to join our team as a Junior Graphic Designer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and executing design projects to effectively market our store, cafe, and events. Working collaboratively with the marketing team and key stakeholders, this role offers a great opportunity for recent graduates seeking experience and growth in the design field.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and create compelling marketing materials that align with the company's brand standards, including social media graphics, website banners, promotional collateral, event signage, and more.
- Collaborate with the marketing team in the development of both digital and print marketing campaigns.
- Proofread materials to ensure accuracy and brand consistency.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and introduce innovative design concepts.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely completion and meeting deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field is required.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design styles and creativity.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to both receive and give constructive criticism.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with web design and content management systems is preferred.
