Key Responsibilities
- Responsibilities: Responsible for strategic thinking, tactical action, and operational decision-making to fulfill the mission of the department and organization. Oversees patient flow across multiple service lines, departments, and sites; develops, interprets, and applies departmental policies and standardized workflows; and implements process changes identified through Revenue Cycle processes or regulatory audits. Additionally, manages initiatives to support patient satisfaction standards, provides financial analysis and strategic planning, and collaborates on budgetary controls with various management levels and Finance.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree required or a minimum of 6 years’ experience in healthcare leadership.
- Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in healthcare leadership.
- Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong problem resolution abilities, and proven multitasking aptitude, particularly in stressful situations.
- Qualifications: Understanding of performance improvement processes including data collection, analysis, and implementation of process changes.
- Qualifications: Working knowledge of healthcare regulatory guidelines (e.g., HIPAA, AHCA, EMTALA).
- Qualifications: Proficient in Microsoft Office products and EMR applications.
- Qualifications: Bilingual in English with Spanish/Creole preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare is preferred.
- Qualifications: Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM) is a plus.
- Qualifications: Prior leadership experience in managing multiple departments, or in a call center or similarly fast-paced environment.
