Job Description

Position Overview

Suave is a leading personal care brand with a heritage spanning over 75 years, recognized as the #1 hair care brand in the United States by volume. Recently established as a standalone company after its acquisition from Unilever by Yellow Wood Partners, Suave operates across mass, value, food, drug, and eCommerce channels. In this role, the Inventory Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing finished goods inventory across the distribution network, collaborating with Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, and other teams to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure high service levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage dashboards to assess inventory positions, allocations, and the precut process to ensure inventory record accuracy across 3PLs and internal ERP systems.
  • Manage inventory variances and reconciliations with 3PLs and suppliers, proactively communicating discrepancies and coordinating with the planning team on purchase order updates or changes.
  • Receive inventory into the ERP, verify quantities, and process supplier invoices for payment.
  • Audit cycle count reporting with 3PLs and review receiving and shipping records for accuracy.
  • Coordinate with Manufacturing, co-packers, Logistics, and DC Operations to align supply plans with warehouse and transportation capacity.
  • Recommend customer replenishment strategy adjustments to drive case, full layer, and pallet pick volumes in collaboration with customer service and sales teams.
  • Support customer supply teams with allocation decisions and resolution of service issues.
  • Assist in peak and seasonal planning to ensure network readiness and effective space planning.
  • Drive EDI integrations for Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs) to enhance inventory accuracy and improve 3PL reporting and automation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve stock slotting with 3PL partners to boost warehouse productivity through detailed analysis.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience Required: 2-5 years of experience in distribution planning, logistics, or inventory management
  • Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG), food & beverage, or consumer goods industries
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with imperfect data
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, make effective judgment calls, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, finance, or a business-related field
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across departments and with external suppliers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Qualifications: Experience with Kinaxis and/or MS Business Central and Korber WMS
