We are seeking an Entry Level Civil/Environmental Engineer to help support our growing portfolio of projects by contributing to the development of innovative, sustainable solutions for water resources and infrastructure challenges. Key Responsibilities

  • Performing engineering work in water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure
  • Working on engineering planning and design projects
  • Preparing reports
  • Developing plans and specifications
  • Preparing cost estimates for various water and wastewater projects
  • Conducting system modeling
  • Performing permitting and alternative analysis
  • Preparing technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables
  • Data entry and analysis
  • Providing engineering services during construction
  • Participating in field activities such as pilot testing

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Completion of coursework in physical, chemical, and biological processes; hydraulics; and principles of water and wastewater treatment plant and infrastructure design
  • 0 to 4 years of directly-relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering
  • Engineer-in-Training Certification
  • Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Familiarity with computer applications including ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and water and sewer hydraulic calculation/modeling software (WaterGEMS, InfoWater, InfoWorks ICM, InfoSWMM)
