Within the Customer Experience (CX) team, the Manager, UX Designer will drive the UX strategy and vision across multiple customer journeys. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft digital, marketing, and product experiences—balancing big-picture vision with detailed design execution—to deliver intuitive, accessible, and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with strategists, researchers, product leaders, and design teams to deliver integrated UX solutions (wireframes, visual systems, interaction models, etc.) across multiple journeys.
  • Advocate for user research and incorporate insights into a compelling UX vision from strategy through launch and optimization.
  • Serve as a design expert who inspires teams and elevates design as a strategic business driver.
  • Remove impediments to ensure the seamless delivery of the overall experience vision and measurable OKRs, while fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Champion the adoption of enterprise-wide UX best practices, design thinking processes, and scalable design systems.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and support, helping junior designers and content staff develop and thrive.
  • Manage legal review cycles, uphold Quality Management System policies, and ensure compliance across all design outputs.
  • Be prepared to travel 10-20% as needed to support team initiatives and stakeholder engagements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, Business, Life Sciences or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience as a UX Designer, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Extensive experience in modern user experience design, with proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Miro, and Jira.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex concepts, manage end-to-end design processes, and produce accessible, inclusive solutions.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with established design systems (e.g., Material, Carbon, Fluent).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare, wellness, or digital health.
  • Background in service design and operations with exposure to both B2C and B2B products.
  • Experience in large organizations and familiarity with platforms such as Sitecore, as well as frameworks like React and Angular.
