Job Description

Entry-Level Sales Apprenticeship (Leadership Track)

Position Overview

This opportunity is for early‑career individuals seeking a long‑term sales path rather than just a summer job. Whether you come from retail, fast food, customer service, or have taken an unconventional route in your education, if you’re ready to work hard outdoors, engage door‑to‑door, and handle rejection while building a career, this role could be the right fit for you. Expect an intensive Summer 2026 ramp (6 days/week, in‑person) with the potential to transition into an ongoing, quota‑carrying role featuring a clear leadership track.

Key Responsibilities

  • Go door‑to‑door in assigned neighborhoods introducing homeowners to our pest control services.
  • Use a proven script to present services, handle objections, and close new customers.
  • Work 6 days per week during the summer ramp (typically 8-10 hours per day), primarily outdoors on your feet.
  • Attend daily morning training sessions and role‑plays with your team lead.
  • After the ramp, manage your own territory as an ongoing sales representative, meeting weekly and monthly sales quotas.
  • Track your activity and results meticulously including doors visited, conversations held, closures, revenue, and commissions.

Career Path & Leadership Track

  • Months 0–3: New Rep – Learn the system, hit ramp quotas, and prove your production and commitment.
  • Months 4–12: Senior Rep – Face higher production targets and help shadow/train new hires.
  • 12+ months: Team Lead – Run morning trainings, coach a small team, and earn overrides on your reps’ sales.
  • Top performers may eventually manage a full team/office with significant override potential.

We are looking for candidates who are excited about a future in sales and are eager to grow within our organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old by May 1 and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Available full‑time for the Summer 2026 ramp (approximately May–August, 6 days/week) and willing to relocate to shared housing with teammates during this period.
  • Comfortable with a commission‑only pay structure, weekly/monthly quotas, and long working days outdoors.
  • Committed to treating this as a career track beyond the summer ramp if performance meets expectations.
  • Reliable, coachable, and capable of persevering through challenging work conditions.

Not a Fit If You

  • Require guaranteed hourly pay.
  • Are unable to relocate or live with teammates during the ramp period.
  • Are only looking for a short‑term internship or side gig.
