Key Responsibilities

• Conduct both routine and sophisticated clinical laboratory examinations across fields such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology, following established guidelines.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure proper maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for subsequent testing as necessary.
• Document all procedures meticulously and contribute to training new staff or interns while upholding lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and secure work environment while complying with all regulatory and accrediting standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree.
• Certification: Must obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment and maintain certification ongoing.
• Exemplary communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with healthcare professionals.
• Strong independent decision-making, problem-solving skills, and keen attention to detail, particularly in documentation and quality control.
