Position Overview
We’re seeking a VP, Channel Marketing Manager to develop and help execute integrated, multi‐channel marketing programs focused on driving the awareness, consideration, and purchase of our suite of SPDR Sector ETFs. Reporting directly to the Head of North America Intermediary Marketing and based in Boston, MA, you will collaborate with Intermediary and Institutional Sales, Client Enablement, Strategy and Research, Product Development, Business Intelligence and more to ensure strategic messaging and campaign execution. Your work will have a direct and measurable impact on our marketing efforts as part of State Street Investment Management – a leading asset manager known for innovative, risk‐aware strategies and a commitment to responsible investing.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage data and business intelligence to create relevant, scalable, and repeatable integrated marketing programs and key deliverables for the SPDR Sector ETF suite targeting intermediary and institutional clients.
- Partner with stakeholders on product materials, positioning, capabilities messaging, presentations, webinars, web presence, and segmented communications.
- Build and lead marketing efforts for intermediary and institutional investment themes ensuring consistency of messaging and voice across all touch points.
- Develop and update SPDR Sector ETF collateral, videos, web content, sales tools, and educational materials tailored for general or firm-specific needs.
- Measure and optimize marketing campaigns to ensure effectiveness against KPIs, target audience reach, and ROI.
- Manage the marketing budget for SPDR Sector ETFs in line with planned initiatives.
- Collaborate with the PR team to create earned media opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with equity markets, sectors, portfolio construction principles, and the ETF structure.
- In-depth understanding of registered product distribution and relevant FINRA and SEC marketing rules.
- Experience marketing to broker dealers, RIAs, home offices, and TAMPs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to confidently interact with and influence stakeholders.
- Excellent relationship-building skills and a collaborative mindset to drive results.
- Strategic thinker with a creative approach.
- Proficiency in CRM and reporting systems such as Salesforce, Adobe, and Tableau along with strong skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant marketing experience.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a major in marketing or communications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous financial services or product marketing experience is a plus.
