Position Overview

Lead Customer Service Associate

Reports to:

Store Manager/Assistant Manager
As a Lead Customer Service Associate, you will help provide assistance to the Store Management Team, ensuring that every shift operates smoothly. You’ll also assist with local store marketing to help reach sales and profit goals while supporting team members with performance and training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Store Management Team with all facets of the successful operations for Par Mar Stores.
  • Provide a high level of leadership to the store and its employees.
  • Support the Store Management Team with all aspects of generating sales and profit growth efficiently and effectively.

Required Qualifications

  • Desire to succeed and grow with the company, with preferably at least one year of retail experience.
  • Strong people-oriented leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Valid state driver’s license and an insured vehicle.
  • Prior knowledge of food handling and safety guidelines.
  • Ability to ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to traverse all parts of the store quickly.
  • Prolonged periods of standing on a hard surfaced floor.
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds at a time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous retail management experience is a plus.
