Position Overview
Marketing Associate (Limited Term) – This is an excellent opportunity to break into sports marketing. In this role you will support our marketing team across ticketing, brand initiatives, and fan engagement while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to organize campaign assets, manage timelines, track deliverables, and ensure smooth execution of marketing initiatives. You will also assist in campaign reporting, newsletter development, influencer partnerships, community outreach, and day-to-day administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Coordinate campaigns and projects from inception to launch. Develop briefs and creative requests, review assets, oversee quality control, and secure necessary approvals.
- Grassroots Marketing: Assist in planning, budgeting, and executing innovative grassroots strategies to engage local communities and enhance brand visibility.
- Influencer Marketing: Support the influencer marketing program by handling communications, coordinating event activations, managing ticket requests, and overseeing content creation and reporting.
- Content Development: Write engaging copy for newsletters and prepare creative requests for paid and owned media channels.
- Creative Oversight: Ensure marketing materials meet brand standards and campaign requirements while tracking revisions, feedback, and approvals.
- Campaign Support: Contribute to briefs, content calendars, and promotional plans; assist in rolling out campaigns across digital, social, email, and traditional media.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall success of the marketing team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- One year of professional experience or a relevant internship in entertainment or marketing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
- Creative mindset with the ability to contribute ideas and review creative assets.
- Understanding of digital marketing, including social media and email marketing best practices.
- Ability to interpret campaign performance data, track KPIs, and provide actionable insights.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Availability to work 9 AM–4 PM (Monday through Friday) with potential evening or gameday assignments.
- Capability to work in active, outdoor sports venues, including performing physical tasks such as standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Compensation
Compensation: The projected wage rate for this position is $17.95 per hour. Actual pay is based on several factors including qualifications, skills, expertise, education/training, certifications, and other organizational requirements.
