Position Overview
Scholastic School Reading Events empower kids to discover books and inspire greatness in every participant. As part of Scholastic’s mission to use the power of books for the betterment of all kids, our Digital Marketing team is seeking an Assistant Digital Marketing Manager.
In this role, you will lead digital marketing efforts for Storyvoice, our live author read-aloud platform, and support Book Clubs, Book Fairs, and Scholastic Dollars through influencer and digital campaigns. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll collaborate cross-functionally and drive engaging, multi-channel marketing strategies.
Compensation:$60,000 to $70,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-channel growth marketing strategies to drive Storyvoice awareness, engagement, and sales.
- Optimize customer acquisition and retention using email, paid media, SEO, and content marketing; run A/B tests and performance analyses to refine campaigns.
- Collaborate with product, content, and marketing strategy teams to ensure seamless marketing execution.
- Partner with business unit Senior Marketing Managers to execute influencer marketing programs and nurture partnerships aligned with Scholastic’s mission.
- Work with Social and Digital Services teams to drive organic social campaigns and support paid influencer ads, ensuring effective asset delivery and content performance tracking.
- Support Book Fairs, Book Clubs, and Scholastic Dollars initiatives by executing digital campaigns that boost brand awareness and sales.
- Stay up to date with ed-tech marketing trends, emerging platforms, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in growth or digital marketing, with a focus on scaling ed-tech platforms.
- Hands-on experience with email, paid social, influencer marketing, and organic social media.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience in A/B testing, performance tracking, and optimization.
- Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM platforms, and web analytics.
- Exceptional communication, project management, and collaboration skills.
- A passion for literacy, education, digital innovation, and a commitment to fostering a love of reading.
